What is The Factory?

The Factory is a groundbreaking new immersive show based on the wild world of Andy Warhol and the events that lead to his attempted assasination.

Part rock concert, part play, part party, The Factory is an immersive kaleidoscope. The show covers the major historical events of the Warhol story as if it all happened in a single night - from the moment the studio opened in 1962 until the attempted assassination of Warhol in 1968.

The Factory features a live rock band, a dance floor, multiple interactive art stations, and a tightly-crafted true crime story. The goal of The Factory is to create a show that is as emotionally impactful as a show you would sit down and watch in a traditional theater combined with the most thrilling interactive aspects of immersive theater.

The concept is simple - the audience is invited to a party at The Factory and has complete freedom to help silkscreen paintings, sit for their own Screen Test, film an underground movie and party with the band. As the audience and the cast work together to create original art, the story of the Andy Warhol's Factory unfolds around them.

Featuring 12 characters with interweaving storylines and endless ways to participate in the show, The Factory is the ultimate ‘choose your own adventure’ experience.

The Factory is fiscally sponsored through Fractured Atlas, a nonprofit arts organization that prioritizes independent artists. Fractured Atlas is a 501(c)(3) public charity; all donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
